Tobbe selling NES ROM CDs at Rip-Off prices!
My elitist NES ROM sk3n3 sources informed me about Tobbe's latest adventure.
$20 for NES Rom CD containing 8200 roms, that is a rip-offarini dudes. Please consider the fact that a CDR dosn't cost more then one dollar or so, he has obviously put a huge value on his post downloading work - must be one incredible CD :D

Thank you Tobbe, rip-off NES rom CD selling will surely save your site from that company.

(5/30/2001 Update)  Tobbe has decided to use a sob story, as usual, to justify the rip-off CD.  This is a complaint over price Tobbe, nothing more.

In sad Opi fashion, word came out that Zoop needs even more money and Opi sold-out.  The sob story is classic, and brings up the cool question of why should people donate for ZOOP'S Museum?

Post Memorial Day News!
Yesterday I took the day off to celebrate the great holiday that we American's celebrate.  The day off pretty much was wasted in LA where I watched my beloved Dodgers beat the Rockies in 11 innings, I was happy to say the least.

Now onto yesterdays news.

If you've been a loyal visitor of the StretchMAME sk3n3 you would have heard about the elitist things that Japanese visitors would get to know first about by now.

Well, it now seems that smame has created problems for his ZtNet buddies and now you cannot download any of the cool Kaillera Test StretchMAMEs period.

You should easily conclude from all of this that smame screwed smame, we kid you not.  His Japanese Message Board only got word of this version most of the time and he never tried to get more people to mirror these special "ka-test" versions either.  Also you have MAME World not even mentioning this yet.

ZtNet apparently likes to keep these subjects secret though.  Also, did you read? They plan to move the site so they can deal with it better.

This is freaky stuff to say the least.  Apparently SwampGas loves to use the "free" word alot, after all he is a "free" man, on a "free" site :P, working for "free", and hiring people for "free".

Everything is free @ ZD! ;)

In a weird attempt to have a news archive which obviously dosn't exist anymore, hence no monthly archive list anymore, he made this cheap excuse of a archive.

Short-cuts are cool when you wanna actually have no archive it seems :P, Zophar would cry if he saw this.

The petty SwampGas we all know and love wishes people to visit some site he made for a co-worker, just so that "he can make him think
    EVERYBODY s going to it".

Just an little observation SwampGas, looks like you actually want him to have a user-base for his band before they actually do anything.  You gotta love the tricks SwampGas tries to pull on his visitors daily.

TkChris is cool.  We have just learned out of this episode that Windows service packs are apparently announced regularly on Retrogames - like his precious Linux Kernel :P

Earlier today Chris made this cool linux post.  Chris' Linux fanboys were said to be rejoicing at the news.

Razoola not dumping CPS2 rom-sets in real release order, confirmed!
Sad news to say the least.  Just read Razoola's poor post on the subject.  Well, the sk3n3 should generally be disappointed in poor Razoola since he can't wait to dump stuff it seems.

Who knows what has been emulated already?
Who knows what rom-sets are being played around by the elitist few already?

As for the I could either ask people to delete the file, ask mameDEV not to
support the XOR's excuse.  Well, Razoola that sounds plain mean spirited.  You would of been looking at a bigger publicity problem if you had stupidly done so - or just MAME, if Nicola has indeed decided that.

We regret to have to inform the sk3n3 as a whole that young dhalamar is drunk again.
Atila obviously isn't doing his job right since these sad posts would easily get someone fired, especially if a site truly was professional =(

Late yesterday, the dude known as Mugrat officially released the much rumored paying VGBA 1.0 for the Windows inclined, no Windows demo included - we happily welcome people to contact Nintendoover this.  Now, onto the newly lmoa'ed :P

Retrogames' Metallik made one heck of a interesting post about VGBA, unfortunately if he actually felt this way why did he post on it?  An interesting question indeed :D

Number 3.  We give props out to SwampGas for all the negativity he has created toward his future competition, competition is good from what I hear.

You see I remember this one incident at Kinox where someone linked to an image at JoseQ's and JoseQ got really really mad and forced MickoZ to apologize to him - thus setting this precedent in motion.

Retrogames using Emulators Unlimited Browser tactics!
My elitist friends at Retrogames recently went the way of Emulators Unlimited earlier today - just look at the error Netscape users get.

We never knew that Retrogames was such a anti-Netscape/AOL site, maybe a boycott is in order :P

Update:  Retrogames has beat out Emulators Unlimited when it comes dealing with this error.
WOW! it took nearly 3 weeks for Emulators Unlimited to do what Retrogames did in one day.

Re-Update:  I visited again and it returned, it better be solved next time Atila and Lev or else.

Dayvee and his anti-Final Burn hacks crusade
Yesterday Dayvee made this neato postarino on the topic. Also note that the Lord of the CPS2 Board closed the thread.

Please support Dayvee's noble cause.   His emu is dead, just like Nesticle.  It just shouldn't be hacked, like Nesticle :P

Opi reports honorable news, then promotes!
Earlier today Opi, the sk3n3s version of a friend to all, promoted a site after posting honorable news about an authors death - honorable cause the DOS OS can be emulated, thus making that game based on his book worthy - I guess?

We all will now mourn for him Opi, but we will not mourn for ROMList promotion :D

UPDATE:  I have been informed that Opi mis-spelt the title of mister Adams' famous book, thus making it an even sadder post =(

JoseQ, Dayvee's friend and a American hero who appears to have "sold out", interviewed Dayvee earlier today.

"quit da scene" is the theme of the interview, and I'd like to mention that JoseQ ended it by egging people on.

"So what do you think? Do you still think he's selfish? As far as I know he contributed as much as he possibly could with other projects. He's not playing games with anybody. In my opinion, he's just doing what he likes and just like myself, doesn't appreciate being flamed for it. To be honest, it's hard to believe that after all of the hard work, people like Dave still get hate mail."

David Lloyd, the infamous non-Emulation comic strip owner - of a comic strip that is supposed to be about emulation, recently posted this.

We all commend David for trying, but really, paying PlayStation emulator news of this kind is for those sites where this publicity belongs.  Oh wait! Retrogames does this all the time and they also try and make money also - they are the same.  So it must be okay now =D

Guru dumps more Arcade dumps, rom hoarding for MAME continues!

The sk3n3 will only accept this hoarding if, and only if, Smitdogg Jones actually has agreed to keep them un-released.

We currently know who it is, but to honor the author's wishes we will not reveal it - cause we wanna see him own some cool Sk3n3 dudes and see what happens with those lemmings over at some sites :P

In the meantime, Meka-l33t informed me that that WonderSwan emulator previously mentioned in that Rumor Mill is indeed MHE.

Conte & Co. to leave ZTNet/Emulation World?
This could very well be true.  Just read what was said during the latest news.

In the menatime, let us all celebrate the great ClassicGaming.com  fiasco of '99.  Hey, he left over the money dealings over at GameSpy (the real host) - only to then show up at Emulation World within 6 months, this all happend way before Emulation World/ZtNet started getting all the bad publicity from the Sk3n3! :)

These memories we should all cherish, especially Matt "The Gameboy Dev" Conte & Jim Pragit.  Let us not forget, Atila offered to host Nofrendo in a bold little move :P

Dayvee releases a new Final Burn!
Sad sad sad, to say the least.  Dayvee, the local emu-God who killed hope for new a Final Burn, has released a new Final Burn out of the blue - this time he claims it to be the final release =(

We wish to give Dayvee props, but can't.  After saying the last release was final and the fact he killed all hope for any new version weels ago, cause of those stinky lamers :P, we have lost total respect for Dayvee.

Just read this naughty pr0n page I saw @ FreezeSMS.

Truly a slap in the face of the sk3n3 =(,  rumors were swirling like crazy the last few months that Jason wanted to buy carts to dump them and release them.  The most interesting quote in the page is:

My trusty source indicates that he has been visiting this one channel for well over two weeks now.  He also seems to be downloading Cowering's "Good" Utilities.

Breaking News! Apparently the Newnet IRC channel in question is called #rareroms, the official page is located here.  Some of the talent that has come off of that channel recently includes both Buddha and generalMe.

This quiet sad - really.  Apparenlty, SwampGas is using this elitist channel to spread his cool ZD propoganda.  He is also trying to gain ops I have been told, he apparently feels that because he runs ZD he should naturally get them - a type of ego trip as they say.  Luckily nobody has ever given him ops, apparently.

Un-officially, SwampGas is apparently trying to slowly gain ops with this particular channel's Super Friends, and thus create a coupe in the name of Zophar's Domain.
Sad indeed :(

PS  Opi didn't mention that most of those CPS2 rom-dumps won't make it out for ages, despite hoarded XOR tables only being needed to easily keep them un-emulated.

Zophar's Domain continues with the "let's not link to the emulator's site" treatment
EMU-LMAOs monthly webcopynews post returns as promised, until ZD learns how to do this we will continue with this on a monthly basis.  We wish SwampGas the best of luck solving this particular problem real soon, cause it is a real hassle for me to do this monthly - I lose 2k from my limited webspace on this alone =(

Buddha joins the club!
I missed alot of current ZD happenings lately, well let's catch up with another new ZD club member :P, our good hacking friend Buddha.

Buddha has decided to promote a paying Playstation emulator for free.  This is sad, since he dumps NES roms.

Buddha also freely posted news about a Chinese handheld named "GP32".  I guess ZD's demographic requires news posters to post about stuff they will never get.

Team Japump! Hoarding, again.
Cool, young Meka-l33t nailed his first rumor this month, he is amazing.

It is quiet sad to say the least, Team Japump! is still claiming they are saving rom-sets, even though technically they are hoarding them off to elite emulation authors who think they are Gods - like Dayvee, Nicola, the Raine dudes, Calice man, CPS2 MAME Man, R.Belmont, etc.

The sk3n3 loses again, thank you Team Japump!

Rom hoarding is a honorable tradition in the sk3n3, especially with the new-age MAME Dev monopoly sk3n3! :P

Sk3n3 note:  Those CPS2 rom-sets should be released though, but I figure Japump! is to l33t a rom group to do it though.  C'mon man, lack of XOR table releases are what would save them from emulation, not elitist hoarding.

SwampGas still begging for money with the new boards!
SwampGas the sk3n3s God of coding (not emulator coding) :P changed boards with his own money today.

What we learned today was that he is still trying to get money from his visitors so that they are installed for free by him. Just read the quote.

I have also been told that this is a bid to have ZD supposedly be the peoples site - even though that is a false statement in itself :P

Also, note that he made the change for his own ease and not the visitors, so people are giving him money to help him and not themselves :)

One more cool thing Swampy's big post forgot to mention is that the regular joe has not been consulted about the change, so dear Swampy you have just lost visitors :P

We honor SwampGas with two brownie points today, let the monthly race officially begin :D

Late update: We really arn't giving him two points, that would be cruel and going to far on my part.  You get one instead Swampgas =)
